Learning data stays in your browser

Your name or nickname, learning preferences, lesson progress, practice history, and saved words and phrases are stored locally on this device. You can clear this data from Profile.

Local product events

The MVP keeps a capped local record of product actions such as starting a lesson or completing practice. These events help with on-device validation and are deleted with your local learning data.

Feature configuration

Firebase Remote Config is used to keep unfinished features off and to run reviewed product experiments. Firebase may use a pseudonymous installation identifier to deliver configuration. Learning answers and profile data are not attached to that request.

Optional usage analytics

Google Analytics for Firebase is connected. Analytics collection does not begin, and the Google tag is not initialized, until you explicitly choose “Allow analytics.” If you allow it, Google may use first-party Analytics storage, pseudonymous browser and Firebase installation identifiers, and ordinary device, browser, approximate-region, and session metadata.

Mambazham sends manual, query-free page views and five allowlisted navigation, discovery, and pricing-preview events. Google may also generate basic first-visit, session, and engagement events. Automatic enhanced measurement is disabled. We do not send raw search terms, your name, free text, lesson answers, Malayalam content, saved phrases, learning progress, or an account-level user ID. Advertising storage, ad-user-data, Google signals, and ad-personalization signals remain denied.

You can turn Analytics off at any time from Profile. Turning it off stops Mambazham from sending new Analytics events from this browser; it does not delete data already sent. Google Analytics is configured to retain non-aggregated event data for 2 months and pseudonymous user-level data for 14 months, without extending that period when you return. Standard aggregated reports are not subject to those retention periods and may remain longer.

Search terms and managed search

Search terms are placed in the page address so results can be revisited and may therefore remain in browser history or normal hosting request records. Do not enter names, contact details, health information, or other confidential material.

During the managed-search rollout, Mambazham may send the search term and the selected content filter to Algolia solely to retrieve Mambazham's published, reviewed records. Provider search analytics, click analytics, personalization, and A/B testing are disabled in these requests. If managed search is unavailable, the current checked-in index is used as a local fallback. Raw search terms are not added to Mambazham's Google Analytics events and are not sent to the linked publishers whose sources appear in results.

No accounts or payments

Mambazham does not currently create user accounts, collect email addresses, accept payments, or store card details. The pricing preview, when enabled, records interest only and cannot create an order.
